Want To Get Fined? Carry A Laser Pointer.
Carrying a laser pointer can get you a fine up to the amount of $5000 in New South Wales, Australia. The NSW legislation has passed laws making carrying a laser point a fineable offense unless you have a reason (teacher, architect, etc.). Many are upset by this, but law enforcement officers say that it was a much needed step.
