Check out this article of how one city is helping their residents get rid of old computers and other items that may have sensitive data on them. Many times when we upgrade to a new computer system we just throw out the old one, but what happens to all that old information? This event allows people to bring their old computers to get recycled and guarantees that all hard drives will be destroyed. They take the extra step of donating any usable old cell phone to womens shelters to be used by domestic violence victims. A quality program indeed!
