Here is a look at a webcam setup to view an outdoor site (in this case, Cathedral Ledge in New Hampshire). Notice, this one is mounted to a tree. Webcams can be mounted to trees, fences, structures, and also mounted indoors and pointing outdoors.
And here is the view of Cathedral Ledge that the webcams is taking pictures of all day.
